Show Rules and Judging Information

The Auto Show will be taking place simultaneously with the Carnival on THURSDAY JULY 4th. Space is extremely limited. Pre-registration is required so you can receive your pass to enter the premises. The event can only accommodate 80 mix of 4 wheeled and two wheeled vehicles entries max and will be reserved at a first registered, first served basis and vehicle selection at the discretion of the event coordinators.

 

•REGISTRATION PRICING

$20 at Proline or $20 online.

$5 for Burnout Competition.


•ADMISSION for event goers is FREE

•ELIGIBILITY All vehicles entering the show must be personally owned and/or registered to an individual. Auto Dealer vehicles will not be allowed to register as a show car. Any dealer vehicle brought in as a show car for awards will be turned away.

•PASSES Entry pass required to access Paseo area. (Entire park will be closed off to vehicles) Passes will be given out at Vehicle Pass Pickup held at PROLINE in Harmon Industrial Park 5pm - 7pm on Monday 07/01/19. Online registrants must bring copy of confirmation email to redeem.
 Do not lose this pass, we will not re-issue a replacement.

•TIME Roll-in and vehicle check-in starts at 1:00 pm  07/04/19. Entry is not guaranteed if you are late. Crews/Teams must roll in together to be parked together. Early arrival suggested. There is no staging area (so group together prior to arrival) and vehicles will be positioned in a first come first serve basis. Spaces will not be reserved for a missing member of your group. Event organizers reserve the right to reject any show entries if vehicle does not meet basic visual criteria.

 

•SET-UP All vehicles once checked in will be moved into place by show officials. The provided vehicle number must be placed visibly for judges to see. Once situated, vehicles will not be allowed to move till the end of the event at 8:00pm. 

Vehicles will be allowed to have displays to enhance the look of their vehicle in their provided space. Canopies will NOT be allowed to be set-up by participants on show areas. (Grass areas in park may be used with permission from event organizers)
 

•CONDUCT Noise should be kept down to a minimum during setup and break down out of respect for fellow entrants.  Displays may not be dismantled until instructed by event officials/staff.  This includes starting the engine and moving the vehicle from its area.  This safety rule will be enforced to protect the attendees. Good conduct shall be enforced during the show, burnouts (outside the burnout box), un-sportsman like conduct, profanity, fighting, damaging property, starting your vehicle and revving the motor, or display of conduct deemed objectionable by show officials will not be tolerated. No driving around at any speed. Any show car caught in motion on the show field will be sited. GPD and security will be present on the event grounds.

•JUDGING will be conducted by a panel of judges (2-3) that will be using scorecards. 3pm start.

Cars & Trucks: Exterior, Interior, Upgrades, Custom Work, Cleanliness, Overall Fit, Finish, and Theme of Build.

Bikes: Upgrades, Performance, Cleanliness, Overall fit, finish, and theme of Build.

 

•AWARDS minimum of 3 vehicles required per category to be eligible for trophy. MAX 10 vehicles per category to accommodate other entries in other categories given the limited space of 80 vehicles.

Import show "Hot Paseo Nights" is scheduled for June 22nd.​

 

Frequently Asked Questions

 

•CAN I PARK WITH MY CREW / TEAM? Yes, you will need to arrive to the event together to guarantee a spot next to your crew. Early arrival is suggested. You will not be able to move around once vehicles have been situated and parked. There will be no staging area.

•SUPPORT VEHICLE, TRAILER, CAR CARRIER: Notification must be given to event organizers by or before 07/01/19 for special instructions as there is no room to unload or park on site.

 

•I DON’T WANT TO COMPETE IN THE CAR SHOW. Enter as "Show and Shine" and your car will not be judged.

 

•CAN I PARK MY CAR UNDER A TENT? No, the area designated to display vehicles does not allow for tents. 

 

•WHAT IS THE LATEST I CAN SHOW UP? We will end setup at 3:00pm for display vehicles. Registration is non-refundable, show up early to get a spot in the show.

 

•I PAID FOR REGISTRATION BUT MY CAR CAN’T MAKE IT. CAN I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION TO A FRIEND? Yes, you may transfer your registration to another vehicle or to a friend. You will need to notify event coordinators as early as possible to make this change. Deadline for transfers is 07/01/19. Registration is Non-refundable. 

 

•CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK AFTER I PARK MY CAR? Yes, but if you're not available when Judges come around, your vehicle will be judged as it sits with no access to the interior for points.

 

•WHERE DO I PARK MY SUPPORT VEHICLE? Support vehicles and vehicles not belonging to the show display will need to park somewhere in Hagatna. You may need to carry in supplies from outside Paseo area.
